I don't know enough about them to vote.

I'd like to hear from other fans who can make their own judgments:

Which candidate has the greatest long-range future?

Wich candidate is closest to playing in the NHL?

JT Miller. USHL, good two-way forward. Reminds me of Kesler.

It's a pretty decent crop at 17....But it is unlikely that anybody the habs pick will jump right in. They tend to prefer the slow route. If you read up a bit on some of these players you will see that there is a good range....and a lot depends on what type of player you like.

For example Brodin, & Oleksiak are probably more defensive defensemen. Oleksiak is Huge (6"7) and a good skater while Brodin is smaller but very smart & Mobile. While Beaulieu & Morrow are more offensive d-men....so there is a good range.

Definitely a habs kind of pick. He is a great skater & works hard....goes to the net. Louie Leblanc/Max Pac type of guy. Maybe a bit tougher than both those guys...

Kyle Rau was this year's Mr. Hockey Minnesota.

- Small 5'8
- American
- Mr. Hockey

Sounds good! (He's ranked 177th by CSS)

Either small two way forward or big soft marshmellow dman. Later rounds will be Euros with almost no chance of coming here.

After the picks everyone will rant and rave how we stole so and so or how in 20 years our 10th round pick might be Ovechkin.

Jamie Oleksiak would be awesome. 6'7 240 pounds. That is a beast right there. But I would also like Boone Jenner, because of the fact that he could blossom into a power forward but also because how ****ing cool is that name. "Lucic along the boards tries to come out in fron- OHHH!!!!!! BOOONE JENNER HAMMERS HIM!!!!! AND THEY'RE GUNNA GO!!!

Want:
Scheifele
Klefbom
Khokhlachev

I'd be happy with most of the others. Besides Jenner.

Not much NCAA or USHL players for the 1st round...

Tough choice for Timmins. It's going to be a CHL guy but born in the US.

Thats why he should take Oleksiak cause he doesn't know if he should be Canadian or American, and he plays in the NCAA with Northeastern.

Something tells me Ty Rattie is going to be a good player, but he is going to have to add the pounds.
