$1.75-2 million.

Even though it's not contract-related, was it me or did he have a lof of good oppurtunites to score in the SCF and miss?

That's what you get with Higgins, always has been. Many chances, not a lot of finish.

It's hard to finish with a broken leg.

someone will give him a deal for around 3 years, 2 mil per year I would guess.. he did what he wanted to do this season; increase his value. he was smart to sign a one year contract last year and he will be looking for more stability this year

He did the same thing in Fllorida all year. He was great at getting free and getting in one on one with the goalie then he'd miss. Plays hard, hits and is good on the PK but he just can't put the freaking puck in the net.

A leg and a foot are completely different. If it weren't for a terrible bounce, Andrew Ladd gets the game-winning goal of the Stanley Cup Finals with a broken shoulder.

Higgins is staying in Van. He loves it here. He even said when he retires he's going to look back at playing with this group of players and say to himself how lucky he was. He's been pumping the organizations tires since he got here. I think he's tired of moving from team to team.

If he gets to free agency, I think the Isles will push hard for him.
