@ Rivet52...Kesler is great on the RW and getting Richards to be his centre would allow Kesler to play more of a powerforward game...no ice-time issues at all.
anyone playing behind the sedins will have much less icetime...

Rivet other point is that having Richards here will hurt our blue line depth and he correct. Blueline depth is something this teams needs seeing how we're always banged up on D. Richards would be nice but we can't really do, well we can but it'll hurt our depth a lot.

Kesler gets more ice-time than the Sedins, mostly because of his PK time, but as far as ES and PP time goes he gets about the same amount. Richards could easily get as much ES and PP time as the Sedins do.

Yes, and he has already stated he would take a discount to remain in Vancouver. This was prior to what ultimately was a lackluster playoff performance. Do not be surprised if he does indeed sign below market value with us.

It would likely be their 1b line.

Malone, Stamkos, Downie
Lecavalier, Richards, St.Louis

Then Thompson, Moore and Hall can all play center for the bottom 6.

IF he were to sign with the Bolts. But signing with the Canucks? Lol...

Anyone else here notice that Vancouver fans are very much like Leafs fans now?

Apparently, every high profile UFA is signing in Vancouver and some very insane trade proposals as of late.

Brad Richards is not signing with Vancouver and Vancouver doesnt want him hes coming off a concussion plus 6+ cap hit is not something we need
