Because of the time difference, a live draft might be problematical.

You're in SJB! rosters are set weekly. if you cant make the draft, how about pre-ranking your players and then yahoo will pick for u?

We now have 7 GM's, need only 3 more!

6 forwards, 4 defence and 1 goalie with 6 bench guys.

Keeping the rosters small helps for stuff like the drafts.

Barrel we will have simple categories:
G, A, Points, PIM, PLUS/MINUS
Wins, GAA, SV%, Shutouts

as for roster sizes, it just doesnt make sense to have small rosters when you only have 10 teams. everyone will have an all-star team and that is boring. I actually wanted to have much bigger rosters than I posted(I wanted about 15F), but I don't want a long draft. That is why I think that 12F, 7D, 2G, 6B,2IR is fine. If you want, I can make it a shorter bench? maybe 4B?

If everyone is from NY area, you guys could meet up in a bar or coffee shop and have a draft that way

Yeah, I think I probably will pre-rank. I just hope I can avoid overstocking at one position.

Thanks for setting this up, BTW.

it is a nice idea...but i'm not sure how practical. I know I am going to be very busy in September with work and moving to a new apartment. I'm sure others here also have their own things to do.

I will however try to find a draft time that works for most, if not all.

I'd rather not have a shorter bench as benches allow for more tweaking/fun in fantasy leauges. Could we possibly have 9F, 6D and 2G + 6B then?

Even if we don't make any changes I'd like to sign up as well... you're right with 10 teams it won't be as bad... however, I'd still like to make rosters a bit smaller + maybe remove PIM and GAA as stats.

May I also ask... is higher PIM considered good in this leauge or bad?

higher PIM is good....it shows a player is physical, which does help a team win.

and i would like to stick with the roster size...for now. i would like to hopefully get more than 10 teams...then we'll see

i am pretty disappointed with the lack of interest in this league...so i think it's best if we cut our losses and just not do it. sorry to those who wanted to do this...maybe next time
