Ahh there we go. Definitely the one I like the most and one that I COULD see happening in the end. Only thing line wise is changing Read and Nodl. That 3rd line could be a defensive type of line while still putting up more points. I dont know if Asham will be back. If not I could see them grabbing someone else during FA or try a Phantom. Overall though, without alot of change, I could possible see this lineup.

The only person I'd change is Read to Holmstrom. Holmstrom I think is the more useful player (from what I've seen when he played with the Flyers). Other than that, I'd just change around some of the player positions and those would be the players I'd go with.
I wouldn't be comfortable going into the playoffs with both Gus and Bart in the top 7. I'm not sure O'Donnell can keep up either.

Syvret and Bartulis among your top 6 D men? That's ugly.

Also, even if he's a rookie, doesn't mean he's stupid. A smart defenseman is always an asset. Bartulis is honestly someone I'd like to see get more time, make himself seem worth more than his 600K contract.
Also I highly doubt we ever see Syvret again. He was horrendous for us.
We really have to hope that the cap gets as high as possible. Even if we get Bryzgalov fairly cheap it will be a bit tricky to fill out the rest of the roster in a way that feels alright.

if you want to trade Bobrovsky (depending a bit on the lenght of Bryzgalov's contract) and have a cheaper back up you could spend some more on a solid winger perhaps. Also, one might want to flip van Riemsdyk and Hartnell to keep Giroux and JvR together. I kind of like JvR together with Richie and Versteeg however.

Being new here is irrelvant. I made a valid point. Nodl will be a regular and he will be resigned. The only way he wouldn't be is if he had off the wall salary demands and decided to play in Europe. Picking McCormick is just picking a name out of a hat.

Regardless of the lines. I don't see McCormick as being someone the Flyers would be interest in.

I agree. I don't see Shelley going anywhere unless they can include him in a trade with Carle/Versteeg. I remember Keith Jones saying he replaced a lot of what they lost with Lappy in the locker room.
I like coburn - pronger. Mez is more physical and could compliment Kimo. Coburn doesn't always bring his physical game. Besides if Pronger is losing a step I think Coburn's speed can cover up for a lot. Coburn played really well with Hatcher.
