If I could have had my pick I would have gone for the last rows of the old 200's right at center ice. I think they are $115 a seat... not too much higher than my last years seats. Where they have us now in SEC112 the ticket prices is $150 per game... a HUGE increase from $95 last year. OUCH
Yeah, my old seats in 209 went from $108 to $195...95% increase. They automatically relocated me to the new 115 at $120. So that's still over a 10% increase to move over a section to inferior seats. Since I split that pair with someone I reluctantly renewed them. This will likely be my last season with them.

My pair in the 300s (going from $59 to $63) were much easier to renew.

I don't understand why they don't just make upgrades and additional seats in the same call as they've done in the past. Why prolong the process?

Oof... I thought we had it bad with a 58% increase from $95 to $150.

This will probably be our only year with these seats... being 6 rows off the glass will be fun, but its just too much money.

I'll probably look to move towards center ice and higher up after next season... I share my seats as well so I'll have to sell that to my friend...

It's to be fair to the other subscribers, otherwise everyone before you will have taken up the extra locations that you could have chosen to move to with your existing # of seats. This way is better if you have recent seniority, not as good if you have long seniority

It maybe more fair but it makes tenure less and less relevant (I take that back - we still get our pics taken at center ice after 60 years of subscriptions - thank you dolan).

When I spoke to my rep, two words...it's complicated. Apparently they will have a lot fewer seats for games this year. I asked but couldn't get a number. That's straining the system.

Tenure is still relevant, because when adding seats you have the most to choose from since no one with recent tenure has added more seats before you had the chance to

The positive side is that the row in front of you is $270 club seats.

I was in Club silver ($170) in the corner and got relocated to basically the same location at $165. So I can look at it as a $5 saving but it's really not since I lose all the club amenities. I'll be in row 8 and the rows in front of mine are clubs at $270. I like sitting down low but the protective net and glass can make you nuts.

I like to get you guys' opinions: is it better to be in the corner or directly behind the net?

I had mine on Friday. Practically nothing in the 300s between the end lines.

Do you know anything about the 400s and are there any seats open behind the goal or is it closed of for the year? Thanks

Did they give you the option of choosing from anywhere in the arena?

Cannot add seats. Can only upgrade to equivalent or more expensive seats. I have 300s and club silver last season.

Just spoke with my rep. Pretty much 1 pair left in each section of the 400's it seems.

I have my appointment tomorrow. I want to go from 4 Seats in the 300s to just 2 in the 400 level. I wonder if I will be able to pull that off.

I don't think you can downgrade (at least that's what they told me). Good luck.

If they can't accommodate that request, I may just have to cancel all 4 seats....

Which, to me, is ridiculous.

I kept all my existing seats too. They had nothing in 310 and only 2 pairs of seats in 311 and they were all the way to the 312 side of the section.

My rep confirmed that I won't be able to "downgrade" to the 400 level. So tomorrow, I will try and get better seats in the 300 level. If anyone is interested buying 10 games from me, let me know! You can email me for details at mattbermanrocks@gmail.com.
