It looks like it would have a yellow torso and blue arms\shoulders. I dig it!

Yep... colors look a lot like what I saw in the focus group I was in. I really can't add anymore but I thought they looked good and actually liked the mock-up of the road unis better. Basically, you'll know what team it is just by seeing the jersey from the back and not having to see the logo on the front! Only other thing I can say from the mock-ups posted here, is that nobody is very close to what I saw, including secondary logos...

Personally I would expect to see a newly signed Shea Weber donning one at the Skate of the Union on July 14th to present them to Preds fans.

Wait you've seen them? I'm jelly.

So you're saying we haven't posted the secondary logo yet?

A little OT, but what an odd assortment of players for the background. Lindback, Spailing, Blum, and Geoffrion? I get Blake, but why not Rinne, Legwand, and Weber for the goalie D and forward? Just odd.

My guess is this is an emphasis on Pred rookies, with the draft imminent.

Sweet I like those colors. All of this light blue and yellow talk was worrisome.

I saw them in a focus group but can't just come out and say exactly what I saw; but can say if your absolutely cold.

On the secondary logos, the answer is 'Nope'. What I saw were totally new on the shoulders; but it may have been changed/tweeked as they were using the focus groups for feedback (also pays to do those surveys in the Preds e-mails too). All of the changes to the jersey's secondary logos are to reflect the uniform as unique to Nashville and representative of the city's heritage in fairly subtle ways and likely could be changed down the road; but the main colors are meant to be uniquely Nashville's and to not have another series of jerseys that look like the Maple Leafs or the circle-logo uni's that the Blues/Jackets/Panthers/etc. have. Plus the current primary logo has something like 8-9 colors in it which makes cost a ton more than making a three colored logo too.

The blue is definitely more of a royal blue than the navy we've always had. Interesting...

Good! The silver needs to go. It makes the jersey look more like an inline hockey jersey, in my opinion.

Although I'm still not sure they'll be giving the new jerseys to our selections at the draft, this does make it seem a little more likely.

Do they do that for the players not drafted in the first round at the draft?

yes, everyone gets a jersey. they just don't velcro a nameplate on it for anyone outside of the first and second

That's why A$G lost so much money. That hurricane bird had like 15 colors in it!

So the new logo...just three colors and simpler? Still a depiction of some sort of animal?

Maybe a yellow practice jersey then? I still see them using the SOTU to display it; but maybe it will be for the road uni...

It's pretty obvious that they're going to trade Weber, Rinne and Suter because they can't afford to pay them.

Give em a third if I had to guess. I dont think there's a rule agasint it. or just give them an old jersey. Either way seems fine.

So you'll go to sleep that evening, wake up the next morning, and turn on the TV. O NOES WHAT A HARDSHIP.

Semi-related note: Will there be adraft party? Its usually the night of the first round, but if we dont have one....

If we did, I would say a few players should hide in the venue, and when we pick, walk out modelling the jerseys for people to see up close.
