Must have initially been because of the finns they had in the 08-09 season, and then the playoffs sort of solidified Canes' position as my favourite team. Favorite thing about being a Canes fan: We're a southern team that has been doing well in the playoffs, and we've won the cup despite being around for roughly a decade. I asked him for his autograph but didn't have anything for him to sign, so he sign his Hartford hat and gave it to me. Been a die hard ever since.
