I like the addition of Marti, who could pan out as the best D of the 93's long term, and the high ranking of Walser, who looked incredibly calm and mature in the POs.
I'm a bit surprised, you let Hächler off the list, he's more skilled than both Guerra and Kukan IMO. And I would add D. Lammer to the HM-list.

Thank you duga... I like your thoughts and share your oppinion on Walser and maybe Marti! But what scared me the whole season is that on both the Novice Elite and Junior Elite Level Marti always seemed to be in the doghouse of the coaches (like I wrote it)... First it was Celio, who then was the Assistant Coach of kloten (where his son was playing), and now with the Juniors it's Rothen who always yells at him... I always assumed it's his risky play, but maybe it's more? Missing hockeysense? sloppiness? I don't know...
Lammer seems to have displipinary issues, that's why I left him of the list... The did something against the team-rules of the Junior Team of Kloten and got suspended, and what was the best thing he could do - run away to Rapperswil and now to Zug.. Is that the kind of Pro you'd like? Sure the talent is there, but also the cockiness and I say in a bad way....
I thought long time about Hächler and he might turn out as the best offensiv defenseman of the 93-group, but just his inconsitency scared me a little bit off... Hächler has had so many on and off games of them that I saw in the National League B that I threw him of my list....

On ideas on how many will be drafted? Hofmann aside, it seems like you could realistically say all have some minor potential to be drafted, but are likely not to be. Is this the case?
Nice article, although calling Bertaggia the best player in Lugano is a bit of a misinformation.

Depends if the list shows the potential or the chance they have to be drafted. If it's the latter, it doesn't surprise me, as a team interested in Conz would likely sign him as an UFA after the draft.

Maybe I focussed to much on him during the games I watched of Lugano and maybe that's why I had the impression...
The thing with Conz is, that he got overlooked now two times in the draft and this is his last chance to get drafted, but I don't think (despite his great season in the National League A) his draft-chances have improved... I did this list based on my oppinions of the players chances to get drafted.... And like stv11 stated, Free Agency after a couple of years is probably the biggest chance for him! But I don't think that Conz will get a contract before Genoni, that's also something I considered....
I think that Gregory Hofmann should get his name called after the 4th round and maybe a team takes a gamble with Bertaggia? But I could also see, that Hofmann could be the only one (I know, that the Flyers sent one of their scouts to watch him - which doesn't mean anything, but he's at least on their radar)....
I know he's not draft eligible yet, but what do you think of Anthony Rouiller?
After Gaetan Haas had a good first season, this year was a typical sophomore season. No impact...a reason why he is not on the radar anymore.
I love Rouiller... Unfortunatly he was injured for the rest of the season, otherwise he'd be at the u18 WJC-Team of Switzerland....
In my eyes Anthony is the Top-94 Defenseman for Switzerland and Top-Player right behind Christoph Bertschy for the 2012 NHL Entry Draft...Rouiller is now 17 and 5'8, so Size will be once more the problem for another talented Swiss! Not that Size is all, but especially as a defenceman it is an advantage....
And yes, Gaëtan Haas had a horrible season with Biel!! More ice-time and more responsibilty, but no results... Looked uncomfortable and shaky most of the nights I saw him...
I really don't know why Haas had such a terrible season. He's talented, but lost his ability to play "von der Leber weg". (Compared to the goals against Ambri and ZSC he scored last year)
Rouiller is small, but he did already well as a 16 year old, now imagine in 2-3 years with more weight and experience. He is already part of the first team and will do the summer training with them. With Sataric a second D was called up, but i saw him play only once. Don't know much about him.

Well, size is getting less important for D-men in general than it used to be IMO. But 5'8 is a bit small though. still very impressive, his debut in NLA.
you agree that the 94-generation is the most promising in years, balanced talent- and depthwise on offense and defense?
with guys like Kreis, Lanzarotti, J.Schmutz, Brandi or Simion
BTW, thx for the insight about Lammer (I always wondered why he chanced the Club) and Marti. I do watch the Kloten Elite once in a while, though only have been 2 times this year. While Lammer might lacks the instincts off the ice, he definitely got them on the ice, a very fine talent. but if the bridges are burned, I'm fine with the change. and we all know the story about an other talent, who cleary got diminished in his talent over the time in Kloten and left with the mark "uncoachable" to the EVZ.

About Hofmann: Wouldn't be too surprised to see a team snatch him late 2nd round, he got noticed in NA.
I agree about him being the only save bet beside Bärtschi, and Richard with his background and latest play may could be biggest darkhorse.
Not a chance he goes in the second round. I'd be surprised if he went before the 5th.
While you're might right, there were several NA medias who had surprising little write-ups about him after WJC.
They see what we could see over the last season. a lot of heart, and speed and solid skill and smarts, in a body still growing in height (he's at least 6.0 nowadays),but with a Simon Ammann-like frame. so considering a character-player like him is very likely to invest in his physical development, I can see some well-informed teams taking him quite early.
there's one obstacle though... this draft has got comparable skill through all the 2nd and 3rd round...that may causes him to slip down a few spots, but not outside the top 100 IMO...
In the Red Line report they actually suggest Hofmann could be a surprise late first round pick. The draft is wide open, and he has intriguing skill. The WJC and the combine really raised his profile, and if he told teams he was willing to leave Ambri-Piotta for major junior in Canada, he's a good bet for the second round I think.
For those of you who follow the NLA closer than me, how were Bartschi and Hofmann viewed 12 months ago, before Bartschi went to the CHL? Was Bartschi thought to be on a higher level? I know Bartschi was mostly in the NLB in 2009-10, but they played on the U18 team together.

McKenzie has him as a honorable mention for his Top-60 talents... So duga, could be right for him to sneak into the 2nd round? Don't know about the 1st round, but then again, who thought that Nino Niederreiter would go 5th Overall last year?
As for Bärtschi, he always belonged to the Top Swiss-Prospects for the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. As for Hofmann, he was a big riser... Couple of years ago he was a decent two-way forward who has developed a fine scoring touch and knows now who to use his speed as an advantage... He was a Top-5 Talent, but rised to the premier spot....
Niederreiter wasn't expected to go 5th, but it wasn't as big a surprise as it would be if Bärtschi goes that early given that there is a clear top 9 this year (of course one single team having another idea about it is enough to destroy all prediction). Add the fact that NHL teams are still suspicious of undersized players and you have two very different situations.
Regarding Hofmann, he obviously has talent and his skating skills can definitely attract an NHL team, but I'm a surprised at how he seems to have risen during the past month. Going from possible late round pick to darkhorse second round pick without playing any hockey shows how hard it is to predict how the draft will work out.
