I wouldn't mind a Perry-Parise trade, even though I have a man crush on Parise. That'd be the only trade that wouldn't bother me, I think.

Perry is another winger. If we're trading Parise, I'd want to fill a need like a top pairing defenceman.

Because Rolston was a consistent 30 goal scorer on the Wild.

Brent Burns omg

Seriously a move like this should have been done long ago. Get Brent Burns in here and if we have to pay a big price so be it. Hard to win without having anything along the blue line and this move would be about the future anyway. Get it done today ! Forwards are easier to come by than offensive d-men who have shown they can do it at the NHL level.

4 years ago, maybe. He wouldn't be now, and they aren't stupid enough to think he would be.

Zach reinjured himself at the end of the year

Seriously do we even know Zach will be himself again ? When you make the comment about Weber well I would rather have him at this point cuz I know what I am getting. Parise on the other hand took the ice at the end of the year and aggravated his injury. Also d-men are not a dime a dozen. I would do a straight up trade Parise for Weber.

Um, no he didn't. They just held him out because we were already knocked out of the playoffs, and putting him in was pointless.

I did notice he has bumped every thread with some version of "Lou sucks", and I can't be bothered to respond to them all.

Yea his act is pretty much like somebody shooting another person and when the cops arrive at the scene, the shooter is running around the scene waving a gun

Perry's a better winger though, there's no reason for Anaheim to ever do that trade. Unfortunately you probably won't get as good a defenseman as Zach is a forward in a deal, as much as people want to daydream about Doughty and others.

I think GM's drool over Zach's competitive nature and the drive to win he has. It's how he has made his name in the NHL.

I don't understand why some people are so quick to trade Zachy Poo. He has a better overall game then Perry. He can play both special teams. He has the potential to score 40-50 goals. He never gives up.

If we see pre Kovalchuk Parise back this October, I wouldn't trade him for anyone.

You'd basically have to bring the following for me, if I were GM, to trade Zach Parise:

- A top 3 1st round pick
- A 2nd or high 3rd round pick
- A #1 or #2 defenseman, under age 25, with offensive skills
- The Stanley Cup
- A case of mixed scotch whisky, each bottle worth at least 100 GBP.
- A private concert by The Music
- Ownership of a microbrewery with exclusive beer distribution to your arena
- Dominion over Kaliningrad or, at least, St. Pierre & Michelon
- A BMW 535xi Wagon, manual transmission, fitted for US emissions
- A flat in London

I still might not say yes.
