The Powe's around the league should be on the 4th line, that's why they are whenever they're on a reasonably deep team. I don't think saying "where would you be on a good team?" is setting the bar too high. A true, solid 3rd line player is more that what Darrol Powe is.
The Powes of the league end up wherever the depth pool dictates they end up.
Some are saying Kings for Richie, Eklund just mentioned Leafs. Kings had better send Schenn, Brown, and Simmonds for Richie, AT LEAST. I don't even think I want anything from the Leafs for him...

Holmgren wasn't joking about getting rid of the party boys, I guess. This is actually a good return for Richards, then you add in the 8th overall, and Philly has a scary young team that's built. I mean, the defense is being kept together and Bryzgalov is getting signed, and you've still got a great top six built around (hypothetically) Giroux, JVR, Voracek, Briere, Hartnell, Leino if he's resigned, then Versteeg and Simmonds for the third line.

They have a forward corps that does not match up with Pittsburgh... at all.

I'm angry about watching my team get worse. Sure, maybe they'll be better in a few years. At that point Timonen and Pronger will be ancient or retired and Bryz will be aging. Sweet.
