I personally will be happy with any player who is high-risk, high-reward. I don't want to go safe to make sure that we "at least get an NHL player out of the draft." I don't care if we get another Dale Weise. Swing for the fences. We have plenty of second and third liners. We need scorers.

I am sure Gordie knows better than I do who is the best prospect, I just hope that the team philosophy going into the draft is to go for a homerun who might be a hit or a miss instead of going for a nice (baseball) single.

Usually I know a decent amount about the prospects heading into the draft but this year I know absolutely nothing. Sounds like the guy you'd be describing would be someone like Armia right?

I don't think Armia will fall -- I'd be doing backflips if the Rangers selected him, though.

I expect one of Scheifele, McNeill, Biggs, Brodin, Miller, or maybe even Khockhlachev or Namestnikov.

It doesn't matter their value still isn't of any pick in the 2nd round.

My guess is the best you can get for Christensen is a 4th round pick, and that's the absolute best. Gilroy's rights are worth next to nothing.
