I know. I look forward to it though!

On the bright side, it allows me time to replenish the trip fund after committing to the season opening trip this afternoon. I plan on doing a 3 in 3 weekend. Either 3 Ads games (with one being at a close opponent) or 2 Ads games and a Preds game in Chicago. Will have to see how the schedule works out...

Eyeing the Thursday-Sunday run through California in March. I'm due for another big roadie.

I think we all do. I miss hockey already.

As far as 3 in 3. I think the AHL in addition to reducing the number of games is also eliminating the 3 games in 3 days. So you might have to settle for two games or stay a little longer.

Have you been to Milwaukee before?

No, I haven't been yet, but am really looking forward to it! I'm especially looking forward to seeing the "ship" in person during intermissions. That thing looks so cool on TV!

I forgot about the schedule change, but am still hoping to maybe catch a 3 in 3 or just 2 really good games. Will have to wait for the schedule to come out before planning out a trip. Maybe I'll catch a Bucks game in-between...

Yeah the ship is pretty cool.

You also may be able to catch a Marquette game as well if they're in town. Depending on how far you want to go the Badger hockey team might be in Madison, that's less than an hour and a half for downtown Milwaukee and their crowds are great.

If the Admirals play on Friday and Sunday and the Badgers play on a Saturday I would definitely recommend a Badger game.

Got to plan another road trip... hmm. Not going back to Vancouver anytime soon, too scared.

Well after some very early talks, looks like a Thursday thru Sunday Ottawa/Boston trip could be in the works. Never been to the Northeast.

When are our preseason games?

I'm happy the home opener isn't until the 13th....if it was anytime between the 5th-10th I would have missed it!

I'm kind of shocked they didn't make us go to Winnipeg.

We had a ton of home games at the end of the season last year, this year we have a ton of road games.

1000th franchise game is Nov.12 vs Montreal.

"Wildcard games" are Washington, Carolina and Philadelphia.

Yea hockey season!!

Thanks for the ideas. The Badgers game sounds like a very good possibility too, especially with Craig Smith playing there. I'll definitely have a lot of options to consider when the schedules come out...

Yeah I wondered if it was for a HNIC game, but then I just assumed they wouldn't be putting a Nashville home game on HNIC.

The Winnipeg game is also a Saturday 7ET game.

Does it strike anyone else as odd that we're only playing one division?

you're probably right. Just struck me odd with all the talk of us moving to that division.
