Tor - Cbj

With the addition of Carter would CBJ be in a position to trade Brassard?

MacArthur, Komisarek, 1st(30th)
for
Tyutin, Brassard

Sounds good. My thought was CBJ could use a little more sandpaper on the back end, and I think Komi will be able to provide that this year. Tyutin was rumored to be on the move last year...not entirely sure how CBJ fans feel about him.

Setting aside the utter ludicrousness of asking for Brassard+Tyutin together in a deal at all, how many different ways do we have to say "we don't want MacArthur" before y'all finally get it?

HELL NO.

Yeah, "better" in the sense that it upgrades to merely god-awful and not worth consideration.

Yeah, uh, no thanks.

MacArthur and the first for Brassard looks better now that we have Carter, but Tyutin for Komisarek is just...

It's not like MacArthur scored 60+ points or anything right?

Really? I didn't know Tyutin was the pillar of your defense.
TYUTIN
2010-11 Columbus 80 7 20 27 -12 and one PP point.

Go ahead and hitch your wagon that.

And here it is, the classic "yeah, well he sucks anyway" response from delusional Leaf fans when another fan base rejects their horrendous trade proposal.

The simple answer is Yes, however, they now have flexibility as well as depth. Both Carter and Vermette could play wing if Brass and Johanssen develop as expected. Why trade that away right now? I don't think Columbus looks to move Vermette or Brassard any time soon. If anything I would hope they would consider moving Pahlsson and slotting Vermette as the 3rd line center. They lose some defense on that line but increase their puck posession and offense 10 fold.

As for the OP, No interest in Komisarek and Tyutin holds much higher value than that. You won't see Tyutin and Brass in the same proposal unless it's part of a deal for a top pair guy

No. It was not suggested that he sucks. Can one provide stats to show comparison?
Here we go another troll leaf hater that copy and pastes the same response on every leaf post.

No problem.

I'm not sure how we fans can announce it but Columbus is looking to add to their defense without removing (or at worst case at least upgrading if we're moving someone). We need more top 4 players, not lateral moves (or in this case I happen to think Tyutin offers more value to Columbus than Komisarek for the type game he plays and his contract).

For example, I would think Columbus would move a guy like Russell + for an upgrade on the back end. We can slot bottom 3 guys in with little trouble. Something like Russell and a prospect or pick for Sekera from Buffalo. I'd love to see that kind of move.

If I'm Columbus I hold on to Brassard and try him out on the wing with Carter and Nash.

Would Toronto take a chance on Vermette and would CBJ be willing to move him?

I was thinking gardiner + Komi + 25th + 39th

For commodore + brassard

Komi is good enough to play in the NHL, while commodore probably goes to the ahl.

Well I would make just about any trade to get rid of Tyutin. He is my least favorite hockey player I have ever had the displeasure of watching. I know this is thrown around a lot, but I would without thinking twice trade Tyutin for a bag of pucks if no better deal were available. So if this is what it takes to get rid of him, as much as I'd hate to get rid of Brassard, it would be worth it just to get rid of Tyutin.

Sure, here's stats to compare from last season.

Komisarek vs. Tyutin

GP - 75 80
G - 1 7
A - 9 20
P - 10 27
+/- -8 -12
PPG - 0 1
PPA - 0 11
TOI - 13:38 22:42

Tyutin may not be perfect, nor is he the anchor of the Blue Jackets defense, but to even insinuate that Komisarek is as good as him is ridiculous. And you called me a troll.
