So, no. Seth is actually a pretty nice kid. Probably a bit too nice and easygoing actually.

Yes, people use first names when conversing, what is your point?

Minnesota is obsessed with local connections and they needed to have a Minnesotan to make it relevant for the local TV news and papers.

They wanted some Day 2 representation at the event.

It's not like it means anything. Who is everyone in the picture though? Don't recognize a few of them.

I thought Ambroz' stock was dropping rapidly. I'm really hoping the Flyers can nab him with the 68th overall.

Bottom right is Beaulieu and bottom left is Stuart Percy, I think.

Forget it, Ambroz. Your fate has been decided on HF Boards.

You guys toss around terms like "never", "bust", "book it", etc. way too casually. You really as knowledgeable as you think you are?

That was a rhetorical question by the way. The answer is "no".

With the third round rolling around, if you are Seth Ambroz, do you like...combine your tears with some corn oil and drive the van back home to New Munich to escape the questions that people are undoubtedly asking him?

Childish? The kid went from Top 10 pick to...We almost at 75 now? His interviews about "giving it his best", when anyone who saw him play this year either knows...he was incredibly uninspired or on cruise control, it's gotta crush the kid to see his reputation take a hit like this.

Edit: LOL! Blake Coleman just got taken ahead of him. Oh lord.

The NHL network guys made it sound like a guarantee that he'd be a 2nd round pick at the start of their coverage.

I personally was hoping the Caps didn't take him at 26.

Now I hope they don't get him at 117 either!

I know a lot of people don't watch the USHL, but I know I sure as heck do. As my dozen posts or so tell my opinion and it's clear scouts think the same way(as they do my opinions on Biggs ).

To put more nuts on this situation, Blake Coleman was selected before Ambroz. A guy who relied on a couple other top players to form one of the best lines in the USHL, arguably, Coleman was the weakest of the trio.

John Gaudreau who is the same size as Rocco Grimaldi, but contains about half the skill and skating ability...has gone before Ambroz.

I know a lot of people are still riding the wave of hype for him PRIOR to this season, but he crapped it this year. Plain and simple. I saw more than enough of the kid in the USHL and it's obvious I'm not just ragging on the kid(heck, Omaha is probably my "favorite" USHL team!)
