McNeil would be a very good pick. If he doesn't pan out as a center (though I think he ultimately will) he'd still look quite good on the wing providing that "jam" for a scoring line.
That being said, I have him going to Calgary at 13.
I thought of the same thing yesterday after the Columbus trade. The Flyers do like their players big and physical. Let's hope he's there at #15.
Having said that, maybe the Flyers like Oleksiak. If that's the case, more forwards will drop down, with Minnesota liking Brodin.
The Flyers also just traded their top 2 centers... Sure, they got Brayden Schenn, but Briere is also not getting any younger - hate to say it because he'd be my target if I was going to move up, but I see Zibanejad..

If we got a guy like McNeill or Biggs (assuming both of them pan out), do you think when Marchessault is ready for the NHL, he would be good on a line with "him". "He" would create space for a smaller talented guy like JAM
The Flyers just might have a shot at Couturier. Possibly Hamilton or Strome. Probably Ryan Murphy or Zibanejad. At least two of the above. Maybe they want Biggs but they can definitely do better than that.
First group--Nugent-Hopkins, Larsson, Huberdeau, Landeskog.
Second group-Couturier, Hamilton, Strome, R. Murphy, Zibanejad.
After that there is a pile of players led by Armia and McNeill. Biggs is close to the top of the pile but even so the Flyers prospect depth is abysmal. If there's a chance at taking a potentially legit 1st line or 1st pairing d-man do they pass it up? With their draft position and who is available it would be asinine for them to take Biggs. Better chance for us then that McNeill falls our way.

I think it's way too early to start penciling Marchessault in anywhere. He's on an AHL contract and has a lot to prove before he even puts on a Rangers sweater.

I know. That's why I said when he is ready to make the NHL. (assuming he'll eventually be ready) I'm just wondering if McNeill or Biggs would be a good guy to have on a line with JAM
Is it just me or does anyone else think Huberdeau is going to be the best NHLer out of this draft?
I can see things getting a little crazy with this draft no teams top 10 looks the same I bet.
Hopkins. He'll take a while to develop and I can see Huberdeau or Couturier winning the Calder and the majority of posters will call RNH a bust because he isn't on a NHL roster.
