So we can endure his terrible contract for 5 more years?
I am sorry but any chance to dump it we need to jump the chance ,, Sadly Tallon continues to hurt the Hawks with his idiotic mistakes

one thing i want to say.. this shows that the contract IS moveable.. he might not get traded.. but its moveable
anyone that says he can't get traded.. well there you go! he did..
didn't accept, but in essence he got traded

obv Campbell will accept a trade only to teams that are contenders
those teams don't have cap space to take them on
oh well .. was fun while it lasted i guess

Funny though
Stan did what was believed to be impossible and found a trading partner only for Campbell to kill it

Not only that, I called this one and proposed it before. This non-division trading stuff with Columbus is b.s.

anyone who says there is noone to replace him this year.. it doesnt matter!!
that short sighted .. they can trade in the future or eventually find someone
the key should be finding a way to get him off the cap

If a clause that is in the contract prevents him from being moved, isn't it somewhat counter intuitive to present that as evidence that the contract is moveable?

No he did not.
He is still a member of the Chicago Blackhawks.

Feel free to read the previous page where I posted links from the CBJ beat writer flatly stating CBJ not involved in Campbell opting not to waive situation.

But it doesn't mean you'll find a team desperate enough to take that contract again and convince Campbell to waive. At least, not until the contract becomes more manageable.
Chicago, you've just been cockblocked

Good, he's one of my favorite players, a bit overpaid but better than most D men in the league if not the best puck mover. This year, when we were rolling a couple AHL lines, he'd be the one to walk through a couple guys in the opponents blue line.
