A 2nd-rounder to Montreal

What would the Habs have to part with to get a 2nd-rounder (and hopefully draft a forward with it)?

agreed, but it's a good thing the real pros have a higher value placed on him. Although I don't see MTL wanting to move him anytime soon

Which Detroit 2nd would that fetch? 35th, 48th or 55th?

I wouldn't worry about acquiring a 2nd rounder, we are a very good club at drafting in the later rounds.

True, but there are good players still left in the 2nd. I mean, Tomas Jurco...

MAG tweeted that Gauthier might try to package Wiz's rights + something for a 2nd.

I would be thrilled if we could grab another high pick. This appears to be a safe draft. A lot of talent.

Plus Detroit could sign him before July 1st if we traded Wiz away.

58th overall for Weber would work for both the Lightning and Habs. Weber is a Right handed offensive defenseman which is our #1 need and has a history with Boucher, too bad it makes too much sense to happen.

Not happening. Weber is worth more than basically an early 3rd rounder.

It could have been worth 26th or 27th overall but not one round later.

Would someone take a flyer on Ben Pouliot?

The Wiz's rights + Pouliot for the 55th overall. Would Detroit be interested?

That package could bring the 48th overall or, if Detroit is high on Pools and/or Wiz, 35th.
