I really wanted Oleksiak to go to Buffalo. Myers-Oleksiak would have been a great thing to watch.

But now Setoguchi gets to play with Koivu, and Zanon is a damn good defenseman!

Wait, Fisher is getting "full body surgery" and there is a chance he's retiring?

I'm hoping another batch of teams will skip Rocco b/c of his religous views. Add them to the ones that skip him because of size and he might be there for us. I think he is the real deal.

The Tebow of hockey eh? Hey as long as he doesn't go around shoving it in people's faces let him have his religious views. As long as he can play, and doesn't piss off the locker room.

No, there were rumors out of Canada that Fisher was so banged up that he might retire due to injuries. He denied that quickly and is rehabbing from surgery that was performed right after the season ended.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first bionic center.

Agree. Fisher part 2. I guess he wouldn't have done well in the Flyers room this past year.

Let's get Rocco Grimaldi. He's small, but he's talented. And the whole strong christian thing will be a hit with people around here. The Tim Tebow effect.

Would we take Grimaldi(SP?) if he falls to us tomorrow? I don't know a lot about him but I've heard good things about his talent despite his size.

It seems he is taking some flack for saying he can ignore his teammates "mistakes" which was a poor choice of wording from him but the kid probably was just flustered. I wouldn't worry about his religious views becoming a distraction to an NHL team. Playing on teams with kids his age I'm sure he has been exposed to a lot of behavior he doesn't agree with it already.

Though admittedly, trying to look at it from the perspective of being a young NHL player. It would be a bit of a buzz kill having a guy who on your team who won't go out with the rest of the team and relax and let loose every once in awhile.

I could do without it.

There are still some guys out there with first line upside, I'm pretty pumped for tomorrow.

Much rather have Tomas Jurco than Grimaldi, but either one would be a nice 2nd round pick without question.

Watch both be available and we go D-Man, I hope not...

Jurco and Grimaldi are defiently my top 2. I would be alright with either one for very different reasons.

David Musil is still out there...big defensive defenseman with NHL bloodlines. Could provide some balance to our prospect pool...

Please don't kill the messenger

Well it is an odd numbered year. Poile always picks D first in an odd numbered year.

It still has yet to be seen if that trend is first pick or first round only. If Poile takes a D-man, I might pull a Vancouver
