Wild add another slow-footed, offensive minded Q center. Heh. Granted, I like Phillips a lot, reminds me a bit of John Tucker if I have to draw a parrallel (slow, but great hands and vision).

A lot of interesting players left for tomorrow: Khokhlachev, Rattie, Saad (wonder how much he falls), Kucherov (wild card), Jaskin, Jenner, Jurco, Musil, Grimaldi...

Starts at 11:00 a.m. and they have less time between picks. They won't be going up to the podium, typically making the announcement seated and then the players come to the table for pictures and greetings.

Is it televised tomorrow? I don't think it is, but I've never been up my 11 a.m. on a Saturday in past years to know.

NHL Network. I think it was streamed on NHL.com as well last year, but not sure.

Still hoping we can draft Koko or St. Croix today.

As for the top 6, after the Regehr deal anything could be possible.

I'm hoping for Richards... I think more likely though we can trade for Vermette or even Jason Spezza.

I was watching the draft on a bit of a delay because of the kids. I'm surprised to go back and find no one made any Connolly comparisons to Strome's pick. Isn't he being compared to Timmy? They both went #5 to the Islanders.

I look forward to acquiring him in two years. DO you think they would still take Peca?

Completely forgot about him. I'd love, if they could somehow trade for a 2nd and pick one of Rask or Jenner.

I want all in on Grimaldi. I don't want to miss out on the next St. Louis just because people are afraid things he might say or isn't tall enough to ride roller coasters.

If there were any incidents in the past where people were bothered by his actions, I think through this process and falling to the 2nd round that he has learned its not ok. And if he still doesn't get the message I'm sure there are plenty of coaches and veterans that won't have a problem setting him straight.

He's talented and a competitor. On and off the ice issues have affected Kassian too, but he's still our top prospect.

Jfb has brought up some good points about his strength and how it projects and Jenner seems like a pretty enticing pick. I guess it's worth taking on that risk with a second, but I really like what Jenner brings to the table.

This coverage is horrible.
Not even showing the picks and they don't know what they're talking about.
