I fail to see how or why you would dive in response to something like that.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!

Several first round talents available. This is how we snagged Josi a few years ago.

I would have been comfortable with Ellis for Couturier. I'm surprised Philly went with the forward there, but meh, I'm not upset at the non-trade. At least we know Poile is trying.

I'm thinking we are going to be taking a long look at some of the forwards available. Saad, Jurco, Rattie....maybe even Grimaldi.

I'd be okay with Musil or any of the prospects brought up here, because I have a sinking feeling that we'll go with some really obscure guy from the college ranks...

Boone Jenner could also be available at 38. Ty Rattie's a touch on the small side, but he might be a strong addition to the forward group if he's still on the board when we pick.

Grimaldi, Musil, Jenner, Jurco, Mayfield, Saad, Clendening, and Rattie all still on the board.

There's too many forwards that I thought could have gone in the first for me to stomach a defenseman at 38, BUT if we did, I'd rather it be Mayfield than Musil.

Should be available streaming live on NHL.com. That's how I watched it last year when I was out of state.

With the way the first shook out, I have no regrets over the Fisher trade. Most of the players I wanted at that spot are still available going into the second.

I had that same conversation on Twitter last night. When asked about it this morning, Fenton was quoted as saying, "We'd do that trade every day of the week."

One request: When starting new threads as our picks are announced can you please use the "Prospect Info" prefix instead of "Confirmed with Link". It will give us a few extra characters to use in the title. Thanks!

Ha....Just said that the Thrashers were the worst to pick in the 2nd round since 1995

Rattie and Grimaldi both gone. Rocco is a Panther. Mayfield to the Islanders.
