I'll take Holik's defensive presence and 2 stanley cups over Kolzig.

It's just more proof that the value of Bobby Holik is unknown to these "hockey fans". Holik is an amazing hockey player and probably the best two-way guy of his era. He should have been no lower than 5th on this list...

Holik was not the best 2-way player in his era, and you say he should've been no lower then 5th? I guess you think he's better then Foote.

Name a better two way guy in the 90s. I'm not counting the elite status Yzermans and Sakics of the world. I'm talking about the Carbonneaus, Gaineys, etc.

And yes, I think he's a better player than Foote. But I'd still have Foote 6th on this list...

Why can't you count the elite players? you said Holik is the best 2-way player in his era, if he was the best in his era then he would be better then the elite players in the 2-way game as well, but since he's not better in the 2-way game then those elite players that means he was not the best in his era, perhaps one of the good ones that's for sure.

Sergei Fedorov was probably the best and most dominating 2-way forward in the 90's.

I agree with Fedorov being the best 2way player of the 90's.

I'm not going to argue with that, it's a given. I guess I should rephrase my statement. Holik was the best defensive forward of his era who could also score 50-60 points a year. He was big, physical, smart, and mean. He's the '90s version of Esa Tikkanen...

I'd still take Michael Peca for my money. No disrespect to Holik, who is a great hockey player, but don't paint him to be something that he wasn't.
