Nice frame, any information regarding his play? Two way grinder, exporter of the odd haymaker perhaps?

Uh... Ho hum just judging by his age (20), production during regular season. Where was this guy playing when he was 18, 19? Hockeydb has just this year.

Had a pretty damn good playoff by the looks of things. Huge frame for a winger, hopefully he likes using it.

Not at all. He's very much a two-way PWF project. First year in the Q, really stood out in the playoffs and might be a bit of a late bloomer.

There's Gillis's MO--slightly older and, hopefully, more matured pick. Like that scouting report on him; seems to have a good two-way game and was used in all situations by Roy, me likey.

He will stay for his overage year in the Q I would think.

Hopefully this guy will be better than Pierre-Cedric Labrie.

Huh.

His regular season numbers aren't exactly impressive considering he's two years older than most of this year's draftees. But it looks like he had a very good playoffs.

From the video, he can obviously skate for a big guy, scored a couple nice goals.

6 PIM so doesn't use his size much.

He was playing in Quebec AAA for St. Jerome, and going to school(CEGEP). Got passed over on the draft, and then was signed by the Ramparts this year.

I saw him play for St. Jerome a couple times and I really, really like this pick. Big guy, but quick for his size and really nice hands. I was very happy when he was picked by the Canucks, and this guy will be considered a steal by the end.

Thanks, so often it feels like you are just reading a stat sheet on these guys. I notice our love affair with the QMJHL continues!

Nice, we need the depth and if he can help right away, its not a bad pick for a 3rd rounder.

Q season ticket holder here:

It wasn't just the playoffs where he did well.

At the end of the regular season he started to look like a dominant player at that level. The Mooseheads gave up a decent price to acquire an overager as well...

He was playing for St. Jerome CEGEP, in St. Jerome.

Quebec AAA is the step below the Q here in Quebec, don't know about Junior A or B. A lot of the top guys either make the move to the Q as Grenier did here, or go onto the NCAA. It is a great second chance league for guys who weren't drafted straight up into the Q.

That tells me he doesn't take dumb penalties so much as doesn't use his size.

But what are we looking at here, Jim Sandlak or Guillame Desbiens?

He's been compared to Eric Daze for what its worth.

I think this is a classic case of a late bloomer. I really like this pick by the Canucks.

It is watching the Champlain games that I originally saw Grenier play.

I went to Bish, but now just live, teach and coach in Lennoxville.
