why did Friberg fall so far?

really hoping Adam Reid falls to us at 167...BIG center that can skate, heading to Northeastern

Lack of viewings and difficulty projecting him into a role, I'd assume.

Stastny impressed me at the pre-tournie games and the WJC's. He uses that size and played with a chip. For an over-ager, he'd be a solid here. And another center...

G Nathan Lieuwen, what a surprise.

A big project, but good size.
Horrible glove hand.

I like it because he has some good tools and he has time to fix his game because of our strength in goal.

Wasn't he one of the players Bakes focused on in the late rounds?

Edit: Yeah he was. Based on the writeup of him, sounds like he could be a good pick if he regains form from his injury. Looks as though he's headed in the right direction.

With our 7th rounder, I'd Stastny or Boyce-Rotevall.
Darkhorses - Westerholm (Pathrik) or Alexei Marchenko.

Didn't know that.
I was wondering why a kid from Buffalo was playing for Shawi.

Well, that's a wrap.
Some interesting players went undrafted.

I'll have to compile my CHL free agent sometime soon.
Already thinking of some camp and tourney invitees.

Time for me to go back to sleep, I only got a couple hours.

i was just looking over the draft on sabres.com. and i am really please with our first three picks. i was wondering who you would have taken had we had our second round pick? because i think that we really made up for it with our third round pick and what we did in the 4th round is also exceptional. of course who can't love the armia pick.

One of: Bengtsson, Gibson (Chris), Karlsson, Kucherov, Lucia, Ruuttu, or Sproul.
