I prefer Maillet to most if not all listed there actually. Outscored Danault in the regular season and Bournival in the playoffs. One point less than Danault in the playoff, 8 more goals in the regular season. Was asked to play a more important role after Devos was dealt and helped them to an unexpected first-round playoff win as a top-line center.

Small, not a speedster and won't be a brute, but skilled and smart. Anticipates and reads the play well. If we're drafting Archambault in the fourth round then we can invite Maillet to development camp, and I told Trevor before the draft that I'd like to see him invited. I don't suspect he's anything more than a future AHLer, but he is deserving of an invite at least.

Scott Oke got an invitation to Dallas camp so you can cross him from the potential invitee...

I hope they invite a couple goalies, I was surprised they didn't draft one, so it's a great chance for a FA goalie to try and impress for a contract.

Maxime Lagace could be one, i know Whitesnake was high on him me never saw him played this year. Everytime i saw pei online it was Mosher in net.

btw ,1st time since 1978 that no Quebec born goalie pick in the draft!! yikes

Jimmy Oligny of PEI has invited to the Washington Capitals camp

interesting, shows how well Quebec has done developing goalies, 31 years of NHL draft picks is impressive.

I'm guessing Delmas gets an NHL contract and assuming one of Hamilton's starters is back I guess it's not too bad but still would leave us very thin depth wise so hopefully they can find someone.

Makes sense. Mayer was brutal this year, so they can't have much faith in him, clearly the Dogs coaching staff has no confidence in him since MacIntyre made every single regular and post season start going from March 2nd to May 24th. (41 consectative starts I believe)

Delmas from what I hear got high praise for his play in Wheeling this year, so I'm hoping he can beat out Mayer for the backup job in Hamilton, was hoping they would loan Mayer out to a Euro league team even though it would cost us a spot out of the 50 contracts limit. I know that he stole the starting job away from Killeen in the 2nd half, and I thought he looked good in his 2 games with the Dogs, so I'd rather see him make the Dogs over Mayer.

I agree with this heck Mayer has suck ever since his Saint-John SeaDogs days he got hot for 2 week in the echl. agree on Delmas but i still wouldn't sign him to a nhl deal to be honest. ahl deal im ok with it

Well unless they feel they are going to be up against the 50 contract limit, it seems a little risky to lose Delmas unless they have a replacement in mind. Since we only have two goalies under contract so far and one of them isn't very good, I would rather see Delmas signed. If Mayer can get an NHL contract, Delmas should be able to get one after the season he had in the ECHL. Since we are so thin at such an important position I would sign him unless they think they can find someone better to sign.

My picks are off WS's list Max Lesieur,Destry Straight,JF Leblanc and Andrei Stastny. Archambault was another and he will most surely be there now.Looking forward to the Camp and Free Agency, actually Forsberg is another player I wanted them to look at adding.

Mathieu Gagnon could possibly be a steal. He will be, on «rebulding» Gatineau team, no.1 or no.2 d-man, depending of Hubert Labrie's status. Last year he had a breakout season while Labrie was down. Great kid, he will impress a lot of people this year.

Max LeSieur will be invited by somebody.

I definitely like Justin Thomas, Michael Houser (goal pipeline could use restocking), Andrej Statsny, Jean-Francois Leblanc are my picks.

Thomas Spelling, some people said he is better at the same age than Eller.
