Regehr officially a Sabre... does this effect them cap wise for the Richards sweepstakes?

Seems as though teams are falling out, Sabres add salary in Regehr and Kotalik.........Flyers dont seem to have enough, Leafs have plenty even with Liles but doubt he wants to go there, LA will lkely now shed Smyth to Calgary instead of Edm since they have cap space but still why with Mike R and Kopitar down the pipe

looking like Rangers to me

Regher waived NMC last night to go to BUF. Regher/ Kotalik for Butler, Byron, 2nd rd pick. Paperwork still to be finalized last I heard.#tsn
That makes a hell of a lot more sense than Ennis.....

Filatov for #66?

That's a trade we should've been all over.

Filatov's cap hit (due to bonuses), made it a move we really couldn't make. Burying him in the AHL for the year also doesn't seem like an option, because another year in the AHL would likely lead him to returning to the KHL (again).

If there was any inclination that he truly planned on returning, I'd love it.

Also, I missed the Campbell trade yesterday. Interesting move by Florida. Seems like FLA and CHI are good trading partners. First Frolik and now Olesz.

I heard this on XM Radio before and not really sure the source but a couple of interesting points:

Colorado ISN'T going to trade Paul Stastny. The guy said that they needed his cap hit.

Also heard that in the next couple of days we could hear Carolina having resigned both Joni Pitkanen and Jussi Jokinen.

it'd be interesting to see Khabibulin and Selanne sign with the Jets this season. Those + Doan I think are the only remaining Jets. Kris Draper too but I'm not sure if he retired this season.

Just listened to an interview with Poile this week on NHL Home Ice Sirius/XM...

They still want Radulov, and Radulov wants to return to Nashville and the NHL.

He has one year left on his contract in the KHL, and Poile said he's confident they can get him back to Nashville after his contract expires.

Just relaying what he said in the interview.

Don Maloney wanted to pick Mark McNeil. Several teams above the Coyotes (including presumably the Rnagers) were offrered a first and a second so the Yotes could move up.

Interesting setoguchi was available. Steep price though.
Hilarious and sad he signed a three year deal the day before.
