1. Tim Erixon
2. Ryan McDonagh
3. Chris Kreider
4. Christain Thomas
5. Mats Zuccarello
6. Carl Hagelin
7. Jonathan Miller
8. Dylan McIlrath
9. Pavel Valentenko
10. Jesper Fasth

How people have Kreider ahead of McDonagh boggles me. Erixon I could see, but McDonagh was opening eyes at the NHL level, while Kreider still hasn't broken out in the NCAA. As for having Erixon first, he was a major part of taking a men's team in the SEL to a championship as a 19-20 year old. He's ahead of Kreider at this point, imo.

Dont consider Del Zotto a prospect anymore.

Dont consider McDonagh a prospect anymore.

Zuccarello i just dont think is going to last in the NHL past his ELC. Too small, too weak, not fast enough. Has the skill and the head though.

Dont believe the Rangers are all that high on Valentenko and Kundratek.

Weise could be a career AHLer.

Dont know enough about the rest of this years picks to comment on them.

The same reason you have Christian Thomas over MZA, who played and produced in the NHL; projecting his upside.

Because he has more upside and is already a more complete player then either Thomas (not good defensively), or McIlrath.

This would be my top 12. Couldn't settle on 10 as I feel 6-12 are interchangeable.

McDonagh
Erixon
Kreider
Thomas
Zuccarello
Miller
McIlrath
Hagelin
Valentenko
Kundratek
Fasth
Lindberg

We really have phenomenal depth. If one of our forwards can develope into a true top line guy we will be in nice shape. 2 would be unreal.
