Early isn't this summer though. I would truly like him to make a push at cracking the roster this year.

Ha ha. Zipay hinted a few weeks about Kreider not attending prospects camp because of school. It's not hard to look up the BC class of schedules. Second session starts today. Jimmy Hayes went to the first session. He tweeted school was over on Friday. He is not going to the second session.

I hope so too. There's no doubt he'd help our blueline immediately this year.

If anyone could post tweets from wherever for those of us whose access is denied at work, it would be much appreciated.

From what I can tell the organization has already penciled him on the 3rd pairing.

John Tortorella is here, watching off ice. Looks good walking, you can barely tell he had knee replaced. Great to see.

Torts hasn't attended the last two drafts. Hip replacement last year and knee replacement a few months ago. Torts did attend prospects camp last year and he is probably there this year too.

Dylan McIlrath looked good skating laps. No pucks on Day 1.
More positive impressions of McIlrath's skating.

Does he get a knee replacement after every season or something?

no that's just because Hagelin is a conditioning monster

He could probably do Torts' pro camp and be like "eh, I don't know what the big deal is"

Hagelin is a gym rat. That guy is going to put a lot of pros to shame with his work ethic and strength. He will see the NHL next season, without a doubt.

Yeah there was an article about how when he arrived at Michigan as a rookie, he blew away the record for running stairs in the arena, beating absolutely everyone. Then he broke his record the year after that. And then broke it again the year after...

I don't really have any doubt that his conditioning is up to snuff for the pro level at this point

I am not at camp today. Will be there tomorrow, with recorder in hand. No videos, don't have access for that. MSG does though and I think NYR.com. Look for videos from them.

Most of today is conditioning. If this is anything like year's paast, scrimmages start tomorrow.
