The surprise will be if anyone signs him for more than minimum. Even then.

Not that this is going to set the franchise back or anything, but this is pretty poor asset management.

He made a difference for San Jose in the play offs. Not in a good way.

We were actually in the same conference as Atlanta btw. San Jose were not.

Losing another skilled talent for nothing, I see. Nothing new here.

It is too bad,bc u know the talent is there. He was our best player his first 15-20 games here.I'd qualify him and put him on a short leash, maybe demote him to Hamilton if he doesn't perform .Sometimes riding the buses is all it takes to turn someone around

But maybe the girl who flashed Eager in Vancouver will come to Montreal and gives us all a show on RDS!

I must say I'm quite surprised. I really thought at least one team out there would bite. Guess not. Gauthier must have been shopping him like crazy.

Overall of course it won't change much, as we can use his salary to sign a quality bottom liner.

Wow - that is poor asset management.

You can't honestly tell me Pouliout couldn't have gotten a 7th round draft pick at the very least.

Brutal.

PG was making me a beliver, but with this years Trade Deadline and now this - if we don't have a great July 1st, I'm going to start to worry.

NOt tendered doesn't mean he won't re-sign. It just mean he won't re-sign at 1.35M a year. July 1st, the Habs couldt sign him for 500K, yaknow.

****ing sucks, I agree that we should at least try to retain his rights and at worst, send him through waivers during the season if he performs like crap.
