Exactly! It's not like 30 points and +2 or whatever was THAT bad. Sure he wasn't great, but he's shown glimpses. How hard would of been to sign him and send him to Hamilton if he didn't make the team. If he gets claimed, so what.

sure they did, the only difference was Darche actually scored a couple goals, so when the injuries came and the powerplay sucked he got moved up. While pyatt stayed on the same line with the same role, like I said you have to bring more then pyatt did if you wanna stay around

This pretty much constitutes proof that he couldn't get a 7th round draft pick.

yes, but we dont need the massive pieces, were not short on goaltending, we have a 1b center and our defense is strong, I actually have a lot of faith that if we can even go into the playoffs with one or two more players then last year we go on a deep run

You would think that PG has something in mind by not qualifying so many

Not sure what you are trying to say, but are you saying Gauthier had an offer for a pick but instead chose to simply let him go?

Wouldn't count on it. The guy now has the flexibility of being a UFA...he was mishandled here. I don't see why he would have any interest in making a return. But I could be wrong.

Logically, Pacioretty is next to be gone.

Players who hit, or show any sort of toughness aren't welcomed on this team. However, that useless **** tard Gomez is.

Wait, so explain to me what's happening with Gorges? Did he or did he not get qualified?

Listen another thing to consider, We need to focus on resigning players like Price, Subban, Eller, Pacioretty, players like this are harder to come by, bottom liners, unless they have a white mold are easier to come by and can be found relatively cheap in free agency, see Jeff Halpern, Mathieu Darche

You think he will get much more than that? If a team offer him more than 1M, I will be very surprised. Pouliot isn't the first case of toolset but no toolbox.

stupid another young skilled player the managment gives up on too fast same story everytime Pouliot will sign with a team like the islanders and be a good player.

hopefully they are doing this to get some bigger tougher guys to make this team stronger all around but i just dont see much available in free agency

Oh btw, I'd be down to re-coup D'Agostini for a 3rd line role with Eller and Kostitsyn.

Flexibility is less attractive when no-one actually wants you.
