Awesome if true! He was amazing for us in the playoffs.

(Be ready to dislike him throughout the season at some points, but when the playoffs start he is golden).

That's solid value for an established fourth line centre; better then paying a guy like Ryan Johnson $1.2 million or having a total scrub like Bolduc down there at league minimum.

Love it. Though I suspect he may become a whipping boy in the reg. season, what he brings in the playoffs is invaluable

Awesome. Exceptional player on the 4th line and can hold his own on the 3rd line if needed. Might not be as good in the regular season, but it's worth it for what he brings in the playoffs.

It's great value for a guy who played on our third line for 3 rounds. He's amazing insurance, can PK, I'm glad it's a two year deal.

Awesome. Playoff stud. Not a great player in the regular season, but is just so clutch.

Hopefully this is true

Great signing if true.

That "$100,000" extra Bieksa got compared to the Hamhuis contract just came off Lappy's contract. I was expecting around $1.1M.

Therefore, net effect of $Nil at the end of the day.

Considering what we've seen in recent years on the 4th line I doubt he'll be a whipping boy.

Really like the size, speed and strength down the middle with Kesler, Malhotra and Lapierre. Solidifies the middle of the ice for the next couple years.

This is really good news. Assuming our forwards (centres especially) stay relatively healthy next year, our 4th line is going to be a very good one with Lapierre.

I say that because he will have a stretch of games where he doesn't really contribute offensively and in those games may take dumb penalties to perhaps cost us a few games.

He said it himself, he plays on emotion and in the dog days of the regular season, he may get away from what makes him truly effective.

But still love having him on the team, gives us great C depth, so no complaints from me.

Good news. Two left handed centres and two right handed centres is a big bonus.

Sedin
Kesler
Manny
Lapierre

If the rink was narrower and there were no need for wingers we'd be a shoe in
