The only real question in my mind is whether he has the competitive cajones to play a whole year pissed off at Philly, or is he going to phone it in thinking that he's on an AHL team?

If he's a leader he'll stay angry and make it leach into the rest of the roster. If he's a dead fish he'll pout the way he seems to have done this weekend.

IMO if there were as many issues as were rumored...Pronger would have been the "C" and Carter would have been out as "A"

There is only one thing that I don't like about this trade......

We have to wait until October for the first regular season game.

Ah, who knows. Isn't that usually as much a player thing as a coach thing. Commodore, after all, wore the A at various times, even as recently as last pre-season.

I'll consider being worried about this trade... in November. After we've seen the team play a few games. Yeesh.

Leaders at the top of organizations set the tone. Nasher, SA, and GMSH going to Philly to welcome Carter is the classy move and very encouraging.

Seeing five NHL markets that are fatter than Columbus. If Dancing Kevin can lose 60pounds, Columbus may put Philly in 17th place.
Howson showed Carter this list and the Dancing Kevin video, and these two things were the things that swung Carter to embrace Columbus
