Probably going to meet and congratulate him on the cup. What a waste of tax money.

90% of them are a waste of tax money anyways we just employ them to keep the unemployment rate down.

better not start this OL....I already had the one on the mainboards closed because of the bashing. This one will attract Bruins fans looking to taunt etc.

Just thought it was interesting. What a better way for the newby mods to test their might than against some bruins trolls?

I haven't seen a post on the Habs' part of the boards about it.... everyone's too busy coming up with off-season permutations.

I think everyone here doesn't care at this point and nothing will come from it. Just paper-shuffling on the police's part anyway.

Bah, I don't think that's necessary, but oh well, I'm sure it will be nothing.

1:50 - 2:36 is 50 minutes? You fail math, brah?

Can't we just move on from this incident? Seems like a real waste of time and tax money to me.

Cop: "So why did you do it?"
Chara: "It was hockey play."
Cop: "You sure you weren't trying to hurt him?"
Chara: "Yes."
Cop: "Yes, you tried to hurt him!?"
Chara: "No. Yes I'm sure I didn't try to hurt him."
Cop: "Oh... okay... Have a nice day, Mr. Chara."

"Mister Chara? Joe Smith of the SPVM here. Our detectives need to meet with you ASAP in July to complete their investigation of the Pacioretty incident."

...

"It's common procedure, very short, but yes, your lawyer can be present during the cross-examination."

...

"Very well, sir. July 13 it is. We will confirm time and space by Friday."

...

"Oh, and could you please bring the Cup with you? The guys at the station would like to take pictures."

...

It is very old. Well, it's newly being talked about because the talk between Chara and police is now about to happen. But the fact that a talk was coming is very old. There was a great article interviewing the police guy in charge of it all a couple months ago, basically just before the Habs met the B's in the playoffs IIRC, indicating the inevitability of this talk as part of the process, but that it would take a while to come to fruition. This is merely fruition time.

The main board hurts my head. I am trying to resolve to stay away from it, since it makes my delete finger very very itchy.

Too late ; Bruins won the Cup after the NHL decided that dirty and dangerous plays are acceptable if made by a Boston player.

First of all:

It was 1:50 to 2:41

Secondly, yes we can get a move on

The only thing that needs probing is the documents of NHL head office when it comes to discipline (or lack there of) in regards to Bruins players.

I don't see how anyone could believe the league handled the Bruins the same way they handled the 29 other teams.

the only thing I hope for is a full Maxpac recovery. As for the police probe, it serves an important purpose, let's allow the professionals to do their job and respect the results.
