i guess he's more or less honoring the fact that zherdev is still technically part of the flyers organization...who knows?

derpsteeg probably felt john leclair was a little pissed off with his performance in the playoffs and decided to avoid his wrath by reverting to #32.

To be honest, I wouldn't doubt if Versteeg did better as #32 .
