Ignoring that one has zero to do with the other, you have absolutely no idea what Montreal offered Wisniewski if anything.
People act completely insane around here in the summer. And the fall. And the winter. And the spring.
As for Weber, pretty sure his QO had to be at least 920K, so start from there.
edit: Looks like it's already out that it's 1.7M over 2. Not sure how that works.

Whatever his salary, it's going to be too much, and a clear proof that Gauthier has lost it.

+ Weber scored more in 3 games (& limited icetime) than Wiz in 6 games in the playoffs... lawl.

Where were you during the playoffs? Just happened to forgot that Wiz fractured his hand in Game 2, right? Right. And Weber was used as a forward (mind you he looked great) and not as a Dman like he's supposed to be.

LJV due for huge breakout this year. Few successful playoff games last year will help propel him.

Wow, cheap... He might not be as good as Wiz, but he's a much better $/production signing...

There's no reason this guy can't become the player Wizniewski was for us. He might not be as tall or thick as Wiz.. but he can put on the pounds. He has great vision and can score, its there in the OHL and was there in the AHL, we've seen it in the playoffs.

I'll admit I'm not the biggest Pierre Gauthier supporter out there, but he has been a BEAST with contracts this off-season.
