Brodeur doesn't belong any where up there.

Henrik is somewhere between 10th and 7th. Maybe. Lundqvist is grossly over-rated by some Rangers fans. He's a Regualr Season compiler and a Playoff choker.
How does playing behind grossly mediocre teams your entire career make you a playoff choker? If Lundqvist played for a team such as the Flyers or Detroit, he would be considered the best goalie in the league, and it wouldn't even be close. I'd rather have him over any goalie in this league.

lol i love when people hate on hank. Thomas wouldn't ever be the goalie he is if he was on a diff team. i really wouldn't even be shocked if tukka rask is the starting goalie during some point next season in fact id be more shocked if thomas held the job the whole year

Good list. Except Thomas has to be #1.

All the rest of the 9 goalies on this list are about the same and can be interchangeable with real no difference. A team can win with these goalies.

Because intelligent fans will use more than one season as a way to rate an overall goalie...oh and they'd also include what the goalies did last year, what team they were on, what they did in the PO's...oh btw Hank did fantastic in the PO's. Do you watch Rangers hockey are you sure you're familiar enough with goaltending in general to share your opinion here cause i'm not so sure... PS I disagree with Luongo 2nd and Thomas 5th as well my rankings are in a prior post

Hes definitely up there. Tough to rank for me. Thomas is on top of the world right now though and belongs there after that sickening performance.

Ryan Miller is overrated. He had one elite year and a bunch of average years. He's not elite, he's slightly above average.

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/teams/players/bio/?id=2045

Take a look. Only one year with a save percentage of .920 or better. Only one year with a GAA under 2.50.

That's no excuse. If that overrated bum at least tried he could totally add like 1 a year. That'd put us over

Oh don't start getting all rude and nasty, now. P*ssies like you here on HF love to dish out insults, then you cry like a weeping gash as soon as you're force fed your own medicine. So put a cork in it and go back to playing your video hockey games (the source of all your hockey knowledge) and picking dingleberries out of your snatch.

Yes, anyone who disagress with this absurd and grossly over-inflated love of Lundqvist and his game; must not know anything about hockey, goaltending and life in general.

You're brilliant and your mother dresses you well.

Thomas
Hank
Luongo

Then Rinne/Price/Miller.

I'd take Rinne over Price/Miller.

Goalies better than Ryan Miller easy (in no special order):
Luongo
Price
Ward
Lundqvist
MAF
Brzy
Tim Thomas
Rinne
Hiller
Vokoun

Possibly better than Ryan Miller:
Quick
Niemi
Backstrom

Miller is overrated, but in no world is he worse than Niemi or Backstrom.

I don't care what anyone says, Lundqvist is hands down the best goalie in the league IMHO. Thomas earned a lot of respect from me this year but there's no doubt in my mind that Henrik could have a performance like that as well.

The lack of Vokoun love is sort of alarming. The guy is a monster... not getting it here.

awww dont be mad because you get no respect from anyone and you have no hockey IQ. Try to learn, K? You'll do better next time...oh what's this apparently you say Cally is overrated too? Ok now I know we simply have to introduce you to this little black rubbe rthing called a puck. We'll work on the rest later. PS kinda yea on everything you said about yourself. If you dont know how good Hank is than you kinda are clueless.

Luongo and Bryz arent better then Miller.Niemi and Quick dont even belong having their name in the sentence as Miller.

For the people knocking Brodeur and praising Tim Thomas, its kind of hypocritical. Yes, Brodeur got his numbers behind a trap and the best defense in the league.
Thomas gets his numbers behind the best defense in the league as well. Can you imagine Timmy Thomas flopping around like that infront of our defense 2 years ago that was so afraid to clear the crease you'd think our defense was made of glass???
I watch the Bruins alot, their D does a hell of alot of crease clearing and puck clearing.

and in two years when we have the best defense in the league, it will not diminish what Hanks does game in and game out.

With that said though, I believe guys like Brodeur and Hank could do what they do anywhere, Thomas, not so much....fo that reason I rank Hank #1 today.
