I highly doubt the Rangers would move Anisimov. The organization absolutely adores him.

If there is any truth to this it's either Anisimov or Boyle.

If legit it's 100% not Callahan.

Eklund. It's in the thread prefix.

It's Eklund, but Callahan is the perfect fit for the Oilers. Exactly what we need and we are going to need a 2nd line RW for the future if Omark doesn't amaze everyone because he's undersized and the only thing that's going to keep him here for a while is if he does just that.

Ryan Callahan is a perfect fit on every team in the NHL.

The Rangers aren't trading him, and the only players they would trade him for on the Oilers are Hall, RNH, Eberle, and maybe Paajarvi. But the Oilers aren't trading any of those players, so it's a moot point.

That reminds me, I should go start a thread on the TB forums asking what ever happened to him...

Looks as if Eklund didn't read the interview with Tortorella that was posted today.

Somehow Ek has this tied into Stamkos to the Rangers...

If I'm Tampa Ryan Callahan is pretty much at the top of my return for Stamkos

Oh, you want Callahan? We'll take RNH and some more, then.

oh yeah, because 14 MILLION IN CAP SPACE apparently not enough to sign Richards....

If and a BIG if this is true, than it has to be Dubinsky. Ani and Boyle aren't making enough to save any cap space (plus centers of Richards, Step, Ani & Boyle is nice), and Callahan is to much of a favorite.

My guess is AA or Boyle... I'd imagine Callahan and Dubi would go over torts dead body...

Wouldn't mind any of Callahan, Dubinsky, Boyle or Anisimov what are the Rangers looking for?

Eklund has been trading Dubinsky to Edmonton every summer for 3 years now.

Probably wanted to give the rumor some legs making you guess who it is this summer by teasing with the RFA hint.

For Callahan? Kesler is the only player in the Canucks organization that is a sensical target in a trade for Callahan. Dubinsky? Probably the same. Anisimov/Boyle are irrelevant, they aren't exactly "big" RFAs, and won't take up much cap space.

If its Callahan or Dubinsky, and the Oilers name is being thrown around, you can be sure it is a negotiation tactic...Edmonton always gets dragged into these things.

Sigh.

No it's not. I'd map out a CapGeek calc, but it's been done numerous times, and it's grown tiresome.
