Also, there is Qualier who is a bit of a mystery. He was a Top-10 prospect by THN and if not for his injury, might still be. Let's see how he bounces back this season because I have a feel he could be a Top-10 prospect again.
Bournival is nice, but he's equivalent to our ordinary 2nd round picks a year afterward.

It was smart of Gauthier to recycle prospects he didn't want (D'Agostini and O'Bryne) for younger ones. That's how you maintain the system after trading 2 and 3rd rounders. The sucky bit was how the draft position rules forced Montreal to 27th drafting position when they should have been drafting 16th. That really limited the influx of talent from the 2010 draft when a guy like Tarasenko or Hishon or Schwatz/Gormley via trade up could have been picked up in the first round instead of trading up for Tinordi.

In fact, they should of picked 11th.

I don't know if it's a direct link, if it isn't just change the year to 2009-2010 in the little bar. They were 19th overall.

Man! Morgan Ellis gets no love after tearing it up on a pretty bad team?

Ellis.
Add.. I think you've got them all. Maybe Berger, but whatever.

I agree, but I think placing the playoff teams in the bottom 16 is reasonable but not moving up the teams making the conference finals. If your going to do that you might as well rank everyone according to how they finished in the playoffs, not just 4 teams.

Frankly, with how they played in the regular season an 11th draft pick was well deserved. They would have been lottery or near lottery without having one of the top goaltending tandems in the league. Overall the team has made huge strides this year on their skater's play, going from above average from below average over the course of a year. One of the best improvements not in Tampa Bay.

Bournival is incredibly underrated. Guy is the last cut of Team Canada and plays an all-around game.

Bournival, I'm expecting a big year from him with Shawinigan hosting the Memorial Cup. Also hope he makes the World Junior team this year
