aka Who gets this dude:

What will Dean Lombardi do?

Which one of these men, if any, will don the ~~purple~~ silver and black for us?

Could it be Ville Leino?

Or maybe Simon Gagne?

Maybe this team needs a little flash? Possibly Tomas Fleischmann?

Scotty doesn't know....that we want him. Maybe Scottie Upshall?

Or....will it be a mystery man that is unexpected (and possibly unwanted)?

Lombardi will call Richards' agent at noon. Will not be able to talk to him since the mounds of cash getting rained down upon them by the Rangers and Leafs will be too loud.

Then probably signs Gagne to a 1-2 year deal and maybe Upshall.

Or he could make a trade for Booth/Semin.

Stoll, Hickey (or Martinez), 3rd Rounder 2011 for Semin.

He would only be signed for a year, so if he sucks and doesn't live up to the 'hype', nothing really lost except Stoll, a guy who is going to be replaced soon by Loktionov or Lewis, and a defensive prospect.

But more than likely a 1-2 year deal with Gagne at 3.5, and I'll be happy. If he can actually play for most of the season, he will be a bargain and play excellent with Richards/Brown.

Brad Richards might also be a nice addition if we want an upgrade at the 3rd center position.

Even if Doughty isn't signed, we can still go after whoever we want. Worse comes to worst and a team stupidly offer sheets him, we'll just have to send Stoll away to Florida for draft picks.

TSN's show should be hilarious. 5 hours of wasting time and talking about Richards, the only big name FA. Hopefully Pierre has a couple youtube worthy moments.

What if LA signed Richards and then moved Kopitar to LW so he could focus more on scoring. Would that work?
