It's good to see a game with some fervor in it. It must be the Western air because these last two games the Flyers have been playing with an edge; something that is strange because the Flyers don't see the Sharks or Coyotes often enough to have a real rivalry. Tonight the Flyers looked like they hated the Coyotes almost as much as I do.

This wasn't the Flyers best game, but they got the two points and that's what matters. It's disheartening that it had to come at the expense of another player, that being Gagne, but let's hope the injury (whatever it may be) isn't too serious.

Jeremy Roenick was very strong tonight. Maybe it was the fact that he was playing an old team or that he hadn't scored yet, but for whatever reason he seemed like he was extra motivated. I noticed he wasn't playing with Amonte tonight, but rather Recchi has been his line mate for most of the year thus far-so far so good I suppose.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure it was Doan that hit Gagne, for whomever was asking.

I confirm, it was Shane Doan, with his #19. I just hope it is not serious for Simon.

It was a good game for the Flyers. 5 goals netted, that's good. But 4 allowed, ...
Good game from Rex and JR. 3 points each last night, great to see! It is now clear that Rex is the perfect fit for JR on the first line.

Last but not least...first goal for Joni! the first of a long series...

BTW, can someone give me the complete lines combos from last night?

Fedoruk-White-Kane
Rex-Roenick-Amonte

Not sure. Gagne went down and it tossed them up a bit. There was also a lot of PK and PP also keeping things shuffled.

So I guess it was :
Rex - JR - Amonte
Gags - Zeus - Willie
Chouinard - Primeau - Kapanen
Fedoruk - White - Kane

Why Lapointe was scratched??

Hey Baron still complianing about the power play ???

6 PP goals in 4 games.

Gagne received a bruised shoulder, on a positive note it was not the same shoulder he injured a few years ago. he is expected to be in the lineup on Tuesday against the kings and Cechmanek.

Much better last nite!
Joni is a great addition to the PP unit. You can see how he has great vision on the ice.

Gagne was injured. Pretty sure he was on the top line until he went out.
Couinard only played 6 mins.
