Success in the KHL doesn't necessarily translate to success in the NHL. Jagr was was declining fast 4 years ago. Why does anybody think that he has improved since then?

Let him go to the Pens - he can be that savior winger that Crosby has been looking for.

Neal Crosby Jagr
nobody Malkin nobody
Asham nobody Cooke
nobody nobody nobody

what a lineup

remember when we passed on Jagr at the 1990 draft and took Ricci instead.

Ironically, Clarke was on the record back then as salivating over Jagr, too. If not for Jay Snider, we may have drafted him.

Russ Farwell made some horrendous draft picks. Then he switched out Brind'amour for Forsberg in the Lindros deal.

Ah, what could have been:

Lindros, Jagr, & Forsberg all in Orange & Black. It would have been unfair. Damn.

WOW!! Did not see that coming. Maybe he wants to play with Datsyuk.

That opens a window for another signing. Tyler Kennedy perhaps.

Still fully expect to see what San Fillippo said is going to happen, it's all a ploy.

I didn't say skill wise, but my dislike of both of them is equal.

If Jags wants to play with a bunch of midgets then that's the team for him.

I love Gags for all he did here, but if the choice is Jagr or Gags, and Jagr is cheaper, I'll take Jagr please.

It'd be nice to have a sniper like Jagr w/o the injury concerns of Gags.

Plus I think Jagr can 100% still play.

It was reported that he's dropped 20 lbs and is working out like a mad man.

- Sam Carchidi says the Flyers and Habs are last two teams standing for Jagr. What, are we only signing old guys with perms?

Even at the age of 40 his unique hockey sense, skills and 6`3/242lb body makes him better than 95% of all players. If he just keeps himself in fairly good shape he would be asset in any team. If you get him for 2 million go for it!
