If Colorado offered you guys Wolski, Sauer and Boughner...would Buffalo be tempted to jump on it? How is McKee's mobility and foot speed? What kind of prospects/players would Buffalo be willing to package McKee with (other than a goalie)?

I'd say you are overpaying with the deal, thats alot coming back. And I don't think the Sabres can take on too many more defensemen, as it is including McKee they have 8 d-men on the roster. It probably wouldn't be wise to trade Jay for another 2, unless the ever patient Regier has decided that he is now the type to discard players. But Sauer and Boughner would add some much needed toughness to the team.

haha, as much as I like him, the Boogieman can stay an Av if Buffalo picks up Sauer and Wolski. But yeah, that would still probably be an overpayment. I do rather like Sauer, in a Brad Brown sort of way.

How about Mckee + Biron for Skrastins + Wolski?

I wonder if Brooks Orpik is an option -- I know the Pens haven't signed him yet.

well i'd pull the trigger. not sure the AVs would. Skrastins is really an under rated player, nothing spectacular but very solid. Wolski would be a nice addition, seeing as we would be dumping salary, and fixing our goalie situation at the same time.

we have no chance of getting Orpik

Its nice to dream though...Imagine 3-4 years down the road both Orpik's playing on the same pairing...
