Anyone planning on going over and checking out practices/camp? I guarantee someone on this board could do a better reporting job on the Panthers camp than the papers are doing. Us out-of-town fans will appeciate any information you guys in Sunrise could slide our way.

I should be going to some camp, I will try to take a notepad and a digicam with me. The local media is totally pathetic at covering hockey. This Joseph guy should cover nascar or something, he obviously knows jacksheit about hockey.

Anyone know the exact times they'll be practicing? I don't want to show up and miss them .

I'll bring my digital camera.

If I can make it to any of the practices, I'll draw some stick-figure stills and label 'em real good so everybody can tell which player is which.

Pat, as things have been goin at my job lately, if you got yourself a great set of kneepads, you'll be guarenteed a job there. Hell, you could work for Morrison's Cafeteria and cook their overpriced meals.

BTW, I think Mother Nature has a personal grudge against your family. First two storms, Francine and Jeanne, last year hit the vicinity of your mom and now God's wrath incarnate ravages your dad. I suggest since you're not too far from the Smokey Mountains right now, you all dig deep into a mountain and take reinforced shelter (like NORAD style in the atomic Cold War) shelter for a while.

I'm afraid to even ask you to elaborate on this one.

If anyone needs a good place to post the pics so that we can all check them out, let me know and I'll throw them up on my website.

Trust me when I say I have no need for knee pads. Its due to some other person who goes through a pair seemingly every day that I'll be able to go to the opening week of camp other than on the weekend.
