I think Rupp is better than Talbot. He isn't exactly the Talbot character but he is a big, can fight and has nice hands every once in a while.

A little overpayment but not by much.

I don't hate the Rangers so good signing! Hope you guys get Richards to

If you want a physical presence on your fore check he is the guy. For his size he has a decent set of wheels and loves to run guys over. Also very good at winning battles along the boards.

A little high. Wish the Hawks got him but not for those numbers/term.

There goes one of the top 4 guys I was hoping Montreal would target. Sigh....

You guys will enjoy Rupp on your team, he will be good in the trenches.

Rupp's a very good forechecker and the Rangers are already one of the top forechecking teams in the league

Exactly why I wanted Vancouver to get him, our 4th line kinda sucks on the wings.

Clearly better than Eager so I can understand how he got a bit more.

It's not a bad deal considering the contracts dished out already

The more I read about this guy, the more I am warming up to the deal.

I was surprised about the amount of the contract, but after Drury was bought out, Fed's probably not being brought back and Prospal either ( ) I guess we can afford it.

It is probably just to replace Boogard (RIP) so I can understand the move.

Sather LOVES tough guys and thinks his whole fourth line should just be goons although Boyle plays well lately

Slight overpayment, but im happy with it. Rupp gives em some more size and of course the ability to drop the mitts. Rupp and Prust is a decent combo. Not going to scare the pants off anyone, but it's solid...especially in todays NHL.

Mike Rupp, what a miserable player. I hated him as a Devil, despised him as a Peguin, nearly puked at the thought of him in yeccch blue.

This means the Rangers did something right. It keeps anyone from scoring hat tricks on Lundqvist. Rupp had become Hank's scoring nemesis in the past two seasons.

Care to explain your thought pattern here?

Seems EVERYONE says he is a GREAT GUY, although you seem to "not like him" (obviously I am padding that feeling of yours lol)
