It could have been the Gagne rumors from last year.

Nothing yet Stamkos or Richards...except: "The Lighnting aren't nearly as confident about Stamkos' actual returning as they are letting on"

This was before he posted the other tweet about 42 minutes ago.

Yzerman WAS in Toronto to make a pitch to Richards. NO WAY they can sign Richards and Stamkos. When i saw him there, i did a double take...something might be up..

Nobody wants Lecavalier. His cap hit is atrocious and he has 10 more years. No. Way. In. Hell.

Weber isn't getting moved, neither is Parise, and after signing Tanguay, Iginla isn't moving.

The only one it could be is Richards or Stamkos.

Doughty, Yandle, Bogosian, Callahan. I'd take any of them

The rumor seems to indicate that it's not Richards.

and that is totally OK, with the forward youth on the team.

I got literally nothing done at work today because I was busy texting people about stuff they or I heard and checking updates about the Flyers free agency all damn day. This off season is a cluster****.

I agree, but not with the aging defensive starpower.

Right now it's an imbalance of "win now for Pronger and Kimmo" or "compete hard for a couple years and turn into an offensive powerhouse"

Jesus Christ, even NHL 11 trades are more believable than what Holmgren has been doing this off-season.

With the way teams are spending money. Simon is going to get in the 3 mill area. The only thing that may hinder him from getting that money is his soft boiled head. Shame but true.

So I just read that you can't go over the cap with an offer sheet.

That guy swings for the fences, bats .100, and sprains his ankle on the home run trot when he does finally go yard.

We're under the offseason cap right now... Flyers have room.

Plus we aren't talking about an offer sheet. Most likely it would be a sign and trade w/ Tampa, executed after Richards signs in Tampa.

I know. Oh well, at least he is still playing and making a living. With the luck he's had it could be worse.
