Going after Richards hard

The Flames are going after Brad Ricgards hard, hopefully if sign because the Flames are too good of a team top get a top pick and they are good at playoffs. They are in the worst place middle. If he signs, then I thinka big trade may happen.

Richards and size of contract makes no sense especially a 31 as he will want a long term deal. WE have enough aging players.

If your going to go nutz, Stamkos cause he can be a franchise player for the next 12+ yrs like Iggy was regardless of 1st round drafts given up, look at how well our first rounds haave drafted LOL. Regardless both are a pipe dream, Feaster playing mind games with the fans showing he atleast tried.

Aside from the first main clause and the last sentence, I don't get what the OP wants to say.

As for the Flames going after Richards: I am afraid, that he won't be enough to get the Flames back into contention and would rather prolong the Flames status as a borderline PO-team.

I don't think its overly far-fetched that Calgary is pursuing him or that Feaster is serious about trying to get him. If he did actually sign with Calgary, I could see one of our forwards being shipped out. Hagman, Moss, Stajan and even Bourque would probably be considered to be moved out if it actually happened.

I can guarantee this won't happen. I hate to be a downer because it would be great but what would make Richards want to be a flame right now? They haven't been past the first round since they lost to that same team Richards played on and the team is among the oldest in the NHL, let alone not near enough cap space to match offers given by the rangers and other teams

$ 7 mio. per are actually reasonable numbers for Richards (at least for the first few years), which is why I believe that he won't sign in Calgary.

Numbers from Rangers, Tampa, LA, and Toronto will not be that far off, and the first three teams have better surrounding talent, while the Maple Leafs are closer to home.

Who knows? Maybe stupid ol' Feaster has some pull with Richards. But I really hope we don't overpay for him. There are some ridiculous numbers floating around in twitterland for this guy.

I have my doubts that he will sign with Calgary, but stranger things have happened.

Really? taking out Regher and Kotalik and adding Richards is a huge difference. We would also have one of the bestt PP's in the league.

I am curious about Richards. IF Feaster had a good relationship with him in Tampa I assume Richards will listen to what he has to say. 9 years though..... dangerous territory. Curious either way. If Richards is in I take it Borque and Moss are to be traded and a kid will be givren a solid shot (read a guy like Wahl?). I think Richards - Wahl is better than Moss - Borque lol. Would be stellar to see Tanguay - Richards - Iginla....

Not necessarily if Hagman were placed on waivers again and cleared sending him to the AHL would result in him going to Europe in my opinion.

Something that concerns me, since Feaster seems to be waiting to see if Richards signs, do you think he lost out on some quality guys who could have potentially signed here?
