Plus we aren't talking about an offer sheet. Most likely it would be a sign and trade w/ Tampa, executed after Richards signs in Tampa.
Gotcha.

Forget the Brad Richards rumors. #Flyers are not involved, sources said
This only adds fuel to my conspiracy theory that the Flyers have two guys in the front office who's job it is to leak the exact OPPOSITE "insider" information to various sources.

Something must be up with all those credible sources saying that the Flyers are up to something.

I actually believe Eklund for once. Wouldn't surprise me if they were trading for someone.

Stamkos was going to be tough before we signed Jagr and Talbot, it has to be near impossible now right?

Stamkos would make me forgive the destruction of our team through this offseason.

We aren't getting Stamkos for nothing, surely going to be some salary headed the other way. LTIR Lappy, send Walker, Leighton, Shelley down, trade a couple of good players for Stammer......

Long shot and my hopes are not up, but whatever, we'll see how we go. I have no problems sending them Couturier or Schenn, or any of our other forwards besides JVR and Giroux.

Cap numbers aside, I would trade anyone on our roster for him. With the cap, it gets a bit more nuanced.

Yeah, but still. If I think about getting Stamkos, then I don't have to think about having Jagr.

Are we talking about dipping into the Carter/Richie trade?

I wouldn't mind seeing Harts, Talbot, Jagar...lol.. and a one or two first rounders go.

Rely on the kids we acquired and the farm team.

if there was truly a way that holmgren could get stamkos, I wouldn't object to anything if jvr or giroux wasn't involved. Stamkos would make this favorites to win the cup.

would you rather have Leino or Cole at the price they cost than Jagr for what we got him for?
