**EDIT**

Just to clarify I think Boosh is a good dude, I'm glad he landed on his feet today after a rough play-offs and I hope he does well. I was a little harsh earlier, but I still think he's a poor tender.
that's why you dont know about BSRB

How you going to hate on Boosh? He is a great back up goalie who had unreasonable expectations placed upon him. They have a solid number 1, and Boosh was a great acquisition in the back up role. Just as he was here until asked to be a playoff hero...

While he was performing this fist pump kick thing, he was saying ******* you Henrik Lundqvist, quoted from him after the game while my buddy and I were doing shots with him. He really is a great guy.

im not hating on boosh, im a fan, just know to never get too comfortable with him. Good signing for the Canes, Ward is prolly still tired from last season. I think they played him 25 in a row down the stretch. Boosh can take some load off.

If Bob does get traded he'll be really missed next year. He's everything you'd want from your #2 and I thank him for his time here.

Brian Boucher is a good backup goaltender. with emphisis on backup goaltender. He should not be any teams playoff starter. period.
I would have taken him back had we not had Bobrovsky.

Using some Google-Fu, it means Back Stabbing Rat *******, a term used on a different forum for several Flyers thought to be involved in a coup to get Bill Barber fired.

Sawdalite's reply in this thread (3rd last post) I found explains it in more detail:

Good backup, thanks for your service, good luck in Carolina.
Boucher blows. No thanks for your service, hack.

Glad to see Boucher get a few more years in the NHL. Always liked him (at least as a backup).

Brian Boucher is not a quality goalie. He's just barely a top 60 in the NHL now. I found it amazing he's lasted as long as he has. I honestly think he'll be fine playing behind Cam Ward. One mistake Carolina made tho was signing him for over $900 000. He's worth no more than the $650 000 Andrew Raycroft is making. That's forsure.

He's a reliable back up. What's your beef?
