This can't be!!!!! According to Offthecrossbar McIlrath sucks and has no place as a prospect. Certainly not on the same level as the legendary Lisin. Whoever listens to Zipay or Spector really must be a fool. All hail the all knowing Crossbar and his unlimited knowledge of Rangers prospects.

Is Yogan eligible for the AHL? Guy is huge.

now, now. in all fairness a prospect having an excellent week at development camp doesn't justify a #10 overall pick. i'm optimistic that Dylan will become what the organization projects he will become...but playing 4 on 4 hockey for a couple hours against mostly teenage prospects isn't exactly the same thing as playing top line minutes on an NHL team. yikes, did I just defend ODC???

The thing that kills me is that if anything, this camp shows skill. There is less hitting and more tic-tac-toe passing because of it. The fact that McIlrath looked good is a positive as people have been saying he has no hands and has no puck-moving skills.

Its also not like he is 22 (like Hagelin) dominating 18 and 19 year old kids. These "kids" are around the same age as Dylan.

look, I'm simply saying we need to be patient. He's going to take time. That he's showing improvement certainly bodes well. But I don't think we should expect to see him skating on the 1st pairing with Staal in the next year or two. lol

I agree. I dont mean to say he is the next Bobby Orr. I just think he has developed and the Rangers are obviously happy with what they see.

Thomas does look promising. I am more impressed with McColgan. First prospect camp and the kid has very good. Very impressive.

yogan can be signed for ahl because he's already played 4 years in the ohl, but given that last year he was only healthy for ten games another year wouldnt kill him.
