He'll be spending a lot of time on that bench next year. Or, in the press box hahaha

Remember Commie, Mike Babcock doesn't like passengers.

Yes, now if only he had the skill to be able to exact payback.

Definitely some winners when re-reading that oldie but goody. Fair amount of hopeful realism thought too, I think. Very appropriate skepticism.

I've seen that "uglier than homemade soup" line in some recent debates and it reminds me that I don't quite get it. Is homemade soup ugglier than non-homemade soup? Soup seems to be soup to me.
Ever seen a mason jar full of homemade soup? Its like the Pascal Leclaire of Soup styles....

Commie to the Wings means one thing, they must have hired Hitch as an assistant.

I'm also guessing that the CBJ are probably more of a motivator/villain to him these days than Babcock is.

It wouldn't shock me if he logs a respectable season for the Wings.
I think (hope) he realizes that he needs to play well next year with the Wings to continue his NHL career. I don't mind the signing, but only because the Wings need a more physical defenseman (Salei was a let down physically). The more upsetting thing for Wings fans is the fact that we've signed two defensemen and neither is top-4 right now.
